“Even if he trained since he was in his mother’s womb, there’s no way he’s even better than the rest of us here.”
“I suspect he’s a con artist! Who’s going to take responsibility if anything bad happens after this? Him? Or everyone else?”
The crowd naturally had their own opinions about Harvey.
After all, they all wanted Katy to look at them in a different light. However, they all failed miserably.
Rather, an ordinary-looking young man managed to get Katy’s respect. This was completely unforgivable for Gael.
Ellen was muttering to herself when she looked at Harvey; she didn’t blatantly insult Harvey, but she was clearly on Gael’s side.
Harvey smiled calmly, stopping Katy from saying anything.
He looked at Gael and said, “I’m not from any sacred martial arts training grounds, nor do I have any impressive background.”
“I’m just an ordinary person.”
“What gave you the courage to come here, then?”
“So many medical experts, martial artists, and sorcerers here couldn’t even do anything. Where did you get your courage from?”
Gael instantly cut Harvey off with a righteous look.
“You’re only lying to yourself and the others! This is no better than murder!“
“I know that you’re worried about Elder Cobb, Miss Cobb! That’s why you’re buying everything this conman spouts!”
“But you need to trust me. You can’t just ask for anyone’s help like this!”
“He doesn’t look like he can save anyone at all!”
“He didn’t bring any equipment for him to be considered a doctor, nor does he even look like a martial artist!”
“The situation will turn into one big joke if anything happens to Elder Cobb!”
The crowd nodded in unison.
The doctors who came all brought a lot of people and their precious equipment.
The martial artists here clearly had an extraordinary aura; they were clearly no ordinary people.
A few beautiful-looking doctors and nurses were glaring disdainfully at Harvey, thinking that he was either an ignorant man or a
con artist.
Ellen walked beside Harvey and whispered, “Can you do it or not?”
“If you can’t, just tell Katy. We won’t blame you.”
“You’re just a guest, after all!”
Katy frowned; she didn’t think her good friend would say something like this when Gael and the others were already opposing
Harvey.
She hesitantly looked at Harvey, afraid that he would get angry.
But when Gael saw what happened, he thought Katy was starting to doubt Harvey’s abilities as well.
At this very moment, Gael felt like he had already won.
He chuckled at Harvey, the sound playful and mocking.
“Listen to me.”
“People should always know their limits!”
“I don’t care how you used to play tricks on other people back in Country H before this.”
“However, you’re standing on the South Sea right now!”
“We’ll never allow such a person to be here!”
People started cheering after hearing Gael’s words.
The beautiful doctors and nurses looked at Gael with admiring gazes.
‘He’s just so handsome!’
