Big Novel

The Supreme Harvey York

Chapter 4126
“Right! My husband’s the only good one there is!” Avery added.
Meanwhile, Lilian’s face was icy. She was quick to take advantage of this opportunity and evade making good on her promise.
“You’re impressive, aren’t you, Harvey?”
“You want to marry Mandy, right?”
“Fine!”
“If you can turn Mandy into the head of the Jean family...”
“I’ll accept your marriage!”
“Right now, I’ll only allow a trial marriage!”
Harvey squinted at Lilian; seeing the fierce look in his unreasonable mother-in-law’s eyes, he knew a huge fight would arise if he
kept pushing her. He then saw Mandy’s worried expression, and then smiled faintly.
“No problem. Is that all I have to do?”
“The Jean family will be hers sooner or later.”
“Fine! I’m looking forward to it!”
Lilian’s face was still icy. She couldn’t stop Harvey from sitting at the table.
Naturally, with him around, she wasn’t about to have a nice meal.
After everyone was done with lunch, Gabriel and his wife left. Meanwhile, Harvey went back to the guest room. He could see
Mandy’s balcony from his window.
At that moment, she was having a call with someone on the phone.
“At the San Francisco Clubhouse tonight?”
“Sure. I’ll make time.”

“That said, do we have any leads about that?”
Harvey had a profound look on his face, though he was silent.
After taking a short rest, Mandy started dressing up. By six o’clock, she was about to leave.
Right when she revved up her car’s engine, the door of the passenger’s seat opened. Before she noticed what was happening,
she could see Harvey’s smile.
“Where are you going, honey?”
Before, Mandy didn’t want to bring Harvey with her.
“To an important business gathering,” she replied after a brief moment of pondering. “A friend I just met is introducing me to an
angel investor.”
“You should come with me, but remember,” she warned, “less talking, more looking.”
“The Golden Sands isn’t like anywhere else. The waters here run deep.”
Harvey nodded with a smile. He was curious about what big character in the Golden Sands could make his wife-the head of the
Jean family’s ninth branch-so cautious.
Vroom!
The car had only driven for a short moment before Harvey’s phone started vibrating.
Harvey glanced quickly at the screen. It was Kellan.
To prevent anything from disturbing his alone time with Mandy, he immediately hung up.
However, Kellan didn’t give up and quickly sent a text.
The contents were simple: he removed the mirror and took the knife with him just as Harvey had ordered, but it was completely
useless.
He almost got himself killed by oncoming traffic a few times.

Kellan’s text was filled with pleading; he wanted Harvey to show him a few things in person. He believed that he’d die a horrible
death if Harvey refused.
Harvey wanted to decline, but he couldn’t help but feel pity after getting hit by a flood of non-stop texts. Finally, he relented and
told Kellan to meet him at the San Francisco Clubhouse then.
“Which girl are you talking to now?” Mandy suddenly asked.
She felt a little displeased when she saw Harvey quietly texting someone.
“Is it Kairi?”
“She’s the lady of the Patel family. You want to become a powerful live-in son-in-law for them, don’t you?”
She didn’t realize that her tone was filled with utter jealousy.
