The Supreme Harvey York

Chapter 4869
Before Harvey could say anything, the man had already fanned the flames.
“He did this, Inspector Braff!
“I was just asking for a reasonable compensation for my dad’s death!
“It’s already bad enough that he’s not paying! He even slapped me and broke my hand!
“He said that the city belongs to him!
“You need to help us ordinary citizens, Inspector Braff!
“We’re relying on you!
“You’re our living legend, after all!” daotranslate.com
After hearing the man’s distorted truth, Inspector Braff’s face darkened. He squinted at Harvey.
“Are you a gangster, kid? You’re pretty cocky, aren’t you?
“How dare you assault and harm this man! You’d have to be locked behind bars for at least three years with any of these
charges!
“You’re in the hospital right now! Your sentence will surely increase because of this!
“That said, I’ll make sure to speak up for you if you stop this instant.”
Inspector Braff pulled out a pair of silver handcuffs, and threw it right in front of Harvey.
The man and his family grinned in glee.
Mandy and the others were worried sick. Right as she was about to step forward, Harvey picked up the handcuffs and glanced at
it a few times.
“Equipment from a decade ago. Judging from the wear, you must’ve cuffed almost a thousand people at this point....”
A few inspectors chuckled coldly.

“So you do know how impressive Inspector Braff is!
“He’s always been the embodiment of righteousness! He’d never let a criminal like you run wild!
“Even if you get the city’s first-in-command here, Inspector Braff will always abide by the law!
“You should just give up now!”
The oblivious crowd started cheering after hearing those words.
Golden Sands would only flourish with a few more of these inspectors, after all.
“Abide by the law?”
Harvey tossed the handcuff, smiling faintly.
“I believe that a man like you don’t have ulterior motives, Inspector Braff.
“But this isn’t how the law is upheld.
“If you only listen to one side, you aren’t fit to be an inspector at all.
“An obstinate man like you might just get taken advantage of.”
The inspectors were infuriated to hear those words, prepared to beat the living hell out of Harvey. Naturally, what he said had
completely crossed their bottom line.
Inspector Braff’s expression worsened, and he sized up Harvey.
“The man’s dad is dead. You broke his hand, too. And yet, you’re calling me unfit? Are you teaching me how to do things?”
“I wouldn’t dare,” Harvey replied.
“That said, a proper inspector wouldn’t just arrest someone after hearing one side’s statement.
“You haven’t even asked me about the situation yet.”

“I’m a fair man. Since you’re not happy about it, then try convincing me to do otherwise. If you manage to do that, then I won’t
arrest you,” Inspector Braff said.
Harvey smiled, then pointed at the corridor’s surveillance camera.
“Good. If you get someone to check that, you can see that not only was the man trying to blackmail us, but he disrespected my
wife too.”
