The Supreme Harvey York

Chapter 5300
Along with Kora’s movements, a few men in black hopped down from the balcony before shoving the crowd aside to get to the
stones.
The stones varied in size. Some looked smooth and plump, while others were simply deformed.
The men in black did not waste a single second. After paying for the stones, they immediately got the smiths to start working.
“Gems! Gems! Gems!”
The crowd was exhilarated when they saw the sight.
The women screamed in excitement, as if they had never seen money before in their entire lives.
The place completely heated up in an instant.
“The same thing happened twice before, but nobody noticed it the first time,” whispered Arlet.
“But on the second time, everyone’s attention was completely captured.
“This time...”
Arlet shook her head with a hint of helplessness showing between her furrowed brows.
The Pagan family had no choice but to remain passive since Kora already made her move.
Their reputation would be tamished entirely if the family did not act at all.
And in the business, losing their reputation would mean a worse fate than bankruptcy.
They could rise again if it were merely bankruptcy, but losing their reputation would mean losing credibility, making it difficult for
them to work in the business again.
Pfft!
The smiths were starting their work without delay.
The crowd was showing a burning gaze when the first cut was made.

Crack!
The smallest stone split into half with a smooth surface inside. A sense of transparency could be seen, resembling an ice cube.
“Another tempest-type gem! No way!” someone exclaimed excitedly.
Before his voice completely dissipated, the second and third stones were also cut open.
The rest followed suit.
When the final one, the size of a brain, was cut open, the crowd wildly cheered once again.
All twelve stones revealed gems inside!
“This is insane! There’s just no way!”
“Ms. Kora is legendary!”
“Everything she pointed at is a tempest-type gem!”
“Looks like the rest of this batch is also useless!”
A lot of customers were pitily looking at Arlet.
Kora constantly insulted Arlet without any chance for her to retaliate after all!
“Enough! The game’s over!
After being dead silent for the longest time, Kora spoke softly. Her words brought a sense of magic, suppressing the entire crowd
while forcing them to hear her every single word.
“There are no other gems in this batch!
“The rest is useless!”
Then, Kora turned around. She shifted her gaze toward Arlet before smiling faintly.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Arlet.

“I ruined yet another batch today.
“Don’t blame me though.
“Blame your family for being bad at reading the atmosphere.
“You people don’t even know whose orders to follow in Golden Sands...
“From now on, I’ll come here whenever you bring a new batch of stones.
“I do want to see if my eyesight’s better than the amount of damn stones you can bring.
Arlet seemed horrible.
“Right! I almost forgot!
Kora looked as if she remembered something.
“Since your stones are nothing but garbage now, isn’t your family about to go bankrupt?
“I won’t have another place to play if you don’t get more...
“How about this? I’ll visit your antique store tomorrow!
“I do want to see just how many of them are real!”
