Seraphina stopped pretending after hearing what Stefan said. In fact, she was waiting for this after leaving the ring there.
"Yes, I left the ring beside Quinton's pillow on purpose to distance you and Renee. Go ahead if you want to punish me, but I don't
regret what I did." She then lifted her head and closed her eyes, waiting for his decision.

abandoned by you again. The whole of Beach City knows that we're about to get married. I can't be humiliated like that, let alone
my family!"
"Yes, maybe I didn't handle it well, but that isn't a reason for you to harm people." Stefan's gaze was icy. He had only now
realized just how horrible Seraphina really was. "I'm going to hold a press conference to call off our marriage."
"What?" Seraphina grabbed his hand and burst into tears." Stefan, stop messing around. You said you love me the most and will
be with me forever. This is just a small conflict. Why do you want to call off our marriage?"
"I did want to spend the rest of my days with you, but you've let me down. I doubt if the person I love is you."
"Stefan, what do you mean? You remember what happened between us, don't you? We made so many memories together. Why
aren't I the one you love?" Seraphina panicked when she heard his words, worried if Stefan had recalled something.
