Mr. Kane Got Blacklisted by Eleven Jewell

Chapter 1367
Seeing that no one responded to Stella's knock, Leighton's fans could not help but chuckle, "Hah. Looks like someone is facing
rejection."
"We all know Leighton is dedicated to his career. He doesn't engage in these publicity stunts."
"Why don't some people have self-awareness?"
While the fans were taking pleasure in Stella being turned away, the dressing room door swung open unexpectedly, leaving
everyone in a state of shock.
Leighton was the one who opened the door. Though Stella was now his cousin, his feelings for her had not faded. He was
initially drawn to Stella's versatile voice, and now that he knew about their family connection, he felt even closer to her.
"Hey, Stella. What's up?" Leighton asked.
Stella waved the script in her hand and said, "Do you mind if we run through some scenes together?"
Leighton shook his head and held the door wide open. "Not at all. Come on in."
Leighton's fans were stunned by how he had graciously invited Stella into his dressing room. After a moment of silence, voices of
discussion began to erupt again.
"This woman sure is something!" One of his fans said.
"Leighton previously mentioned his preference for older women. Could he be referring to Stella?"
"Maybe. Even though I don't like her, I have to admit she's incredibly attractive. It's possible that Leighton has developed feelings
for her..."
"Is he out of his mind? He's in the prime of his career. Why would he get into a relationship?"
"While it’s disheartening to see Leighton get together with someone else, we have to remember that he had never slacked off
since the beginning of his debut. As long as they're serious about each other, I don't think we should comment on his personal
matter but rather wish him well."

"Nah. Fuck that. I didn't spend all this money just to watch him date," said someone from the crowd.
"Let's all take a step back and calm down. Public displays of affection don't necessarily signify a romantic relationship. Take other
celebrities' partners, for instance. They're usually kept out of the spotlight until the other officially announces their relationship.
Since Leighton isn't hiding anything, it's possible that their relationship isn't what we think."
These words helped soothe the people's anxieties.
Following that, one said, "We're here to see who the new female lead is. Don't get today's mission twisted, guys."
Suddenly, Leighton's supporters remembered their main objective for the day. They had been concerned about the new female
lead because the production team had been keeping her identity under wraps.
Leighton was incredibly popular, and there were always individuals trying to leverage his fame for their own publicity during every
shoot. On top of that, Stuart had a history of using certain tactics to promote his work. For example, he had cast Bella to
generate buzz about her partnership with Leighton.
Hence, the fans' worries were not unfounded. They cared for their idol's career and reputation more than anyone else.
As soon as Stella entered the room, she placed the coffee on the table and asked, "Leighton, do you happen to know who the
female lead is?"
Leighton shook his head and said, "No. Stuart didn't tell me."
"What?" Stella was surprised. "But you two have so many scenes together today. Why hasn't he said something?
What's his game?"
Leighton was equally perplexed. He had inquired twice about the new female lead, but Stuart maintained his secrecy. So, he did
not press him further for information.
"Could she be someone you're familiar with? Maybe it's someone you had a fallout with, and that's why Stuart is keeping his
mouth shut," Stella frowned and guessed.
"But I rarely hold grudges against people," Leighton responded.

Estelle, who had just inserted the straw into her coffee, chimed in, "Yeah. That's only because his hatred goes beyond holding
grudges."
Leighton's lips twitched when he heard that. "Shut up and drink your coffee!"
