Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Bella suspiciously stared at Sabrina for a few seconds. Then, she asked, “You’re Alex’s friend?”
“Yes.” Sabrina nodded.
Seeing that Bella was not making any attempt to sit, Collen pulled Bella’s sleeve and asked, “Sit down?”
Bella finally sat next to Collen, but the whole time, she was still staring at Sabrina intently.
Sabrina asked, “Bella, do you want me to order steak for you?”
Instead of answering the question, Bella announced, “You look like someone I knew.”
Noticing that Bella had stopped being hostile to her, Sabrina smiled.
“Really? Is she also from my hometown?”
“Yeah. Several years ago, she was an exchange student here. She only stayed at the school here for a year and then returned
home. We lost contact after that.” Bella’s lips turned down. “She knows Alex, too.”
However, knowing Blayze was not a means to confirm anyone’s identity.
As the previous president of the International Association, Blayze was famous in Philade. He was familiar with Philade and could
help people solve their problems. Therefore, oceans of people knew him.
Back then, Sabrina had gone to a shopping mall to have dinner on that fateful night. Then, a restaurant owner added her to a
Facebook group. Blayze happened to be a member of that group, and that was how Sabrina knew Blayze. When they finally
met, she told him about it during one of their conversations.

However, due to her amnesia, Sabrina had forgotten about it.
Despite the odd feeling of familiarity Bella’s words invoked, Sabrina didn’t think that she was the person Bella was talking about.
Each year, various students studied at her university, including exchange students, undergraduates, graduate students and
doctoral students. Among all these people, it was unlikely she was the very one Bella was talking about.
In addition, chances were that the person Bella mentioned looked like her. It didn’t mean she was the one Bella mentioned.
Moreover, Bella might have just said so to start a conversation with Sabrina. This was probably just her way of breaking the ice.
However, at Bella’s words, Collen raised his eyebrows. “That’s quite a coincidence. Fay once studied here as an exchange
student and returned home after a year.”
Bella stared at Sabrina in surprise. “When did you come here?”
“About five years ago.”
“That was when she came too. What college were you from?”
“Business school.”
“She was too...” Bella trailed off, staring at Sabrina in astonishment.
Seeing the stunned expression on Bella’s face, Collen swallowed the steak in his mouth and asked, “Did you two really know
each other before?”
