Several years ago, Sabrina experienced a car accident that resulted in the loss of part of her memory. When she returned home,
she found herself disconnected from Bella, unable to recall who Bella was.
Bella didn’t recognize Sabrina now because they hadn’t seen each other for years.
Thinking of her memory loss, Sabrina couldn’t believe what a coincidence it was.
Then, Sabrina asked Bella directly, “Do you remember your friend’s full name?”
After some thought, Bella recalled her friend’s full name. She replied, “Yes. Her real name was Sabrina. Sabrina Chavez.”
Sabrina was shocked. She sat wide-eyed with her mouth agape.
“You... Are you Sabrina?” Bella asked in disbelief, raising her eyebrows after seeing Sabrina’s reaction.
“Yes, I am,” Sabrina replied with surprise. She couldn’t believe it and was momentarily left speechless.
“Then you... Can’t you recognize me? Do you remember when you couldn’t locate the classroom when you first arrived at the
university? I was the one who showed you where it was. You used my ID card to borrow books from the library before you got
yours. Every time James assigned homework, I would copy yours...”
Bella recounted numerous memories from their past. She said quickly and with great enthusiasm, “Before you went back, you
promised me that you would stay in touch when you got home. We always hung out together before you came back, having quite
a blast. But after you left, I couldn’t contact you at all!”
As Bella recalled everything, her expression shifted to one of sadness. She screwed up her face, appearing confused and with
mixed emotions, as if on the verge of tears.
Seeing Bella like this, Sabrina felt a pang of guilt.
Sabrina hurriedly explained, “Bella, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. I had a car accident before I came back, and
after that, I couldn’t remember some things clearly.”
Collen chimed in, “She’s telling the truth. She hasn’t even contacted Alex since she came back. She might not be here today if
she hadn’t accidentally enrolled in Alex’s photography class.”
“If you don’t believe me, I can show you my hospitalization record from that time,” Sabrina hastily added.
Bella stared at Sabrina and said, “That won’t be necessary. I believe you.”
“What a coincidence that we ran into each other again after all these years. We used to be friends,” Sabrina said, smiling. “Bella,
have you had dinner? It’s my treat today.”
“Actually, no, I haven’t. When my friend told me she saw Adonis with another pretty girl, I immediately rushed over,” replied Bella.
“Then order whatever you like.” Sabrina signaled the waiter to come over, and he brought a set of tableware.
Bella knew that Sabrina wasn’t short of money, so she flipped through the menu and said mischievously, “I’m going to order extra
dishes now!”
After placing their orders, Bella added, “I knew you weren’t that kind of person. When I didn’t hear from you, I got anxious and
went to Mathias for you. I wanted to find you but didn’t know where to start looking. I did some sightseeing for a few days and
then returned.”
Bella’s efforts to locate Sabrina indicated the strength of their past relationship.
“It doesn’t matter. We were destined to meet again after a few years,”
Sabrina said happily.
