Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

“Grandma!” Jennie exclaimed, rushing to Kira with a bright smile. “You’re here!”
Kira bent down, planting a gentle kiss on Jennie’s cheek. “Jennie, are you happy I’m here to pick you up?”
Pouting, Jennie Looked down at her hands, fiddling with them nervously. “Are we going back now?”
She wasn’t quite ready to go back. What should she do?
Kira was disappointed when she saw the look on Jennie’s face. Her face twisted into a scowl, and she snorted. “What’s wrong?
You don’t want to come back with me? Really?”
Jennie’s face turned pale. She murmured, “Well, not really. I want to stay here for a few more days.”
Kira had just arrived today. She had planned to stay for a few days with Wanda.
But when she saw how Jennie was behaving, fury surged within her. She glared at Sabrina with intense anger, then grabbed
Jennie’s hand and began to pull her to the door with quick, brisk steps. “Let’s go! You’re coming back with me right now!” she
boomed.
Jennie trembled, taking a step back. Her lower lip jutting out in a pout, but she couldn’t escape Kira’s firm grip.
Sabrina swiftly positioned herself in front of Kira. “Wait, what are you doing? It’s not that Jennie doesn’t want to go back.”
“How dare you? You keep trying to pursue Tyrone, even after the divorce. Do you think I don’t know he wants to keep Jennie just
because you can’t have a baby? If you want to show gratitude to the Blakely family, stay away from Tyrone!”
Kira’s provoking words fueled rage within Sabrina. She took a deep breath to calm down. When she was about to respond,
Wanda stepped forward and pulled Kira by the arm. “Kira! What nonsense are you talking about?”
Kira shook off Wanda’s hand, her eyes blazing with fury. She pointed an accusatory finger at Sabrina and scolded, “Have I said
anything that wasn’t true? Why did Tyrone suffer from gastrorrhagia? It was because of her, wasn’t it?”
She then turned to face Sabrina and sneered, “You won’t let Tyrone go even after he divorced you! You’re like a snake, coiling
yourself around him and refusing to let go. But Tyrone is a kind man. He deserves better than you!”
“Why do you have to make a fuss here?” Wanda berated.

“ARE”
Jennie was so frightened by all the yelling that she burst into tears.
Sabrina hurriedly approached Jennie, her arms outstretched for a warm embrace.
But before she could reach her, a pair of arms scooped Jennie into an embrace.
Sabrina turned around, and saw that it was Tyrone.
He held Jennie with one arm, and wiped the tears from her face with the other hand. His voice was soft and soothing. “Jennie,
don’t cry. I’m here with you. If you don’t want to go, you don’t have to. No one can force you.”
Jennie rested her face on his shoulder and sobbed.
