Scars Of A Broken Bond by Calv Momose

Tyrone gently patted her back and looked up at Kira, maintaining a calm expression. “Aunt, since you’re here, you should spend your time peacefully with Grandma. Otherwise, go back. I think Hoijery is more suitable for you.”

Kira’s jaw dropped, and she stared at Tyrone in disbelief. “Tyrone, are you driving me away? I’m your aunt. You’re defending this woman.”

“The woman you’re talking about is the one I love! I respect you as my aunt, but you haven’t been helping maintain harmony lately. I won’t tolerate it,”

Tyrone remarked, his expression serious.

Sabrina looked at him with a blank face.

He allowed the woman who caused his grandfather’s death to escape, and although he said he had reasons, he wouldn’t explain them.

Sabrina believed the one he loved was Galilea.

“Okay, fine!” Kira sneered. “Now you’re taking her side! You show no respect for your aunt!”

She snorted and stormed up the stairs, her footsteps echoing through the hallway. When she passed by Sabrina, she narrowed her eyes at her and said through gritted teeth, “Only for Jennie’s sake, I won’t make a fuss with you. But mark my words, Sabrina. From now on, you stay away from Jennie!”

Then she continued upstairs.

As Kira’s back disappeared up the stairway, Wanda placed a comforting hand on Sabrina’s shoulder. “Don’t take it to heart, Sabrina. Kira has always had a fiery temper. When she’s upset, she tends to lash out. It’s just the way she is.”

“I understand.”

Sabrina felt deep gratitude towards Cesar and Wanda for all the help they had given her over the years. She was willing to bear Kira’s scolding for their sake. Besides, Sabrina and Kira only met each other once or twice a year.

“Can’t I play with Aunt Sabrina anymore?” Jennie’s voice trembled as she spoke, and her eyes filled with tears. She wrapped her arms tightly around Tyrone’s neck and gazed at Sabrina under wet lashes.

“Of course, you can play with Sabrina. Whenever you want to play with her, just go ahead and play. No one can control you or tell you who you can be friends with.”

“But what if Grandma gets mad?”

Tyrone smiled. “Don’t worry about that. Your grandma was just upset for a little while. Besides, I’m here to make sure you’re safe.”

“Okay.” Jennie leaned her head on his shoulder, looking very dependent.

With their similar features, they Looked like father and daughter.

Wanda watched the unfolding scene, her mind racing with questions. As she pondered Kira’s attitude, a sudden idea crossed her mind.

Could it be possible that Jennie was Tyrone’s biological daughter?

Kira had lived alone for many years. Why did she suddenly want to adopt a child?
