eating. When she looked up, our eyes locked, and she glared at me. I could

Jake was sitting next to her and had the need to participate in the game, but

“Celine, I think it would be fun if you join us…” Mia remarked while sporting a
devilish grin.
“No, I’d prefer not…,” she responded and turned her gaze away.

“Don’t force her if she doesn’t want to….” After I told them, they all looked at
each other and shrugged their shoulders.
I couldn’t help but smirk when I noticed out of the corner of my eye that she was once more staring at me. And it didn’t come as a surprise to me when she got up from her seat pulled Jake with her, and brought both of them over to the circular table where the rest of us were sitting. She plopped down between Mia and the other girl who had been making fun of her earlier. The girls giggled, and Mia leaned in close to Brylee and whispered something
to her just before she picked up the bottle.
After Mia had spun the bottle in the middle of the table, the other girls started
singing a chant. “Stop! Stop! Stop!”
They were all stunned into silence when it finally stopped, and they looked up
to see who had been pointed by the bottle.
