“Where are you, Thea? When will you appear?”
James gazed into the distance. His gaze pierced through the universe and reached into the void.
At that moment, a man walked into James’ manor. He was a bald man who was dressed in a monk’s cassock. The monk stuck
his head into James’ manor.
James immediately reacted and said, “Since you’re already here, please come in.”
The monk scratched his bald head and walked in with a smile. James pointed to the chair next to him.
The monk took a seat and said, “Thank you.”
James asked, “Who are you?”
Quanesha, however, was alarmed. Apparently, she knew who this man was.
The monk smiled and said, “Longinus Klopas.”
Hearing this, James was stunned. He had only just mentioned Longinus to Quanesha, and he did not expect him to appear out
of nowhere just like that.
Though he was secretly stunned, his expression was composed as he said smilingly, “Ah, the Lord of the Second Universe. Your
reputation precedes you.”
“The title means nothing to me. It is only thanks to the living beings of the Second Universe that I’m the man I am today.”
Longinus waved his hand slightly. He acted casually, seemingly uninterested in the position of the Lord of the Second Universe.
“I wonder what business you have with me today,” James asked.
Hearing this, Longinus’ expression turned grim.
“I heard that you annihilated a Macrocosm Ancestral God of the Sixth Universe. Since the Sixth Universe has a close relationship
with the First Universe, I’m worried that you will be in danger, considering that you are now in the Ancestral Holy Site of the First
Universe.” Longinus said.
James looked at him.
He continued, “Though I admit I’m weaker than the Omnipotent Lord, I’m not that much weaker than him. Thus, I should be able
to guarantee your safety. As long as you support me in becoming the Lord of the new universe, I promise you that not even the
Omnipotent Lord can do anything to you. Besides, I will provide you with enormous benefits once I become the new Lord.”
Hearing this, James immediately understood everything. Longinus was here to win him over to his side.
An Eight-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God was certainly terrifying. He definitely had the right to compete for the position of the
Lord.
“What do you think?”
Longinus looked at James. His grim expression was now replaced by a mischievous grin.
“Forty-nine, we will now share the same fate from today onwards. Together, we will create a bright future for the new universe.”
...
He began speaking non-stop, promising many benefits and speaking of the future, so much so that even James was almost
convinced.
James looked at him with a smile and said, “I also want to become the Lord of the new universe. Why don’t you support me?
Once I become the new Lord, I will make you my deputy. You will be in charge of the new universe’s Heavenly Path. What do
you think?”
Hearing this, Longinus froze.
He stood up and said, “Sorry for interrupting. I must have come at the wrong time.”
