The Almighty Dragon General

“I’ll do my best to complete the task, Sir Youri.” James’ eyes shone with fierce determination.
Youri gave his instructions. “Bring some of our best men and meet with the members of the other races. I need you to acquire the
keys to undo the formation cast over the sanctuary located within the Cloud Race’s lands.”
A small frown creased James’ forehead. “Sir, the humans have one of the keys now. Even if we manage to collect all the other
keys, we won’t be able to undo the formation and release Soren Plamen without the last key.”
Youri explained, “I’ve already sent out news about the humans to the others. With the help of so many different races in the
Greater Realms, it’ll only be a matter of time before the humans are found. So, leave that part of the matter to me. You just have
to focus on collecting all the other tokens and bringing them back safely.”
“Understood.”
James was about to turn and leave when he paused in his tracks. He asked, “Sir Youri, I think it’s probably better if I don’t bring
any men with me for this mission. I should acquire the keys alone.”
“Hm?” Youri fixed James with an intense gaze.
James quickly explained, ‘The people of the other races might feel displeased or offended if I were to show up in their territories
with a group of our best men. We already have to watch out for that powerful, mysterious man from the Human Race. I think it’s
best we try to avoid getting into any conflicts with the other races.”
“I can show the others our sincerity in solving our current issue by going to their territories alone. I’m sure they’d be more than
willing to hand over the tokens.”
Youri nodded in agreement. “You have a point. The other races might think that we are trying to humiliate or belittle them if you
were to show up on their doorsteps with a huge troop out of nowhere. It would be quite problematic if any one of them were to
decide to turn on us at any point.”
Youri agreed with James’ opinion.
“In that case, you should visit the other races alone. Do it discreetly. Try not to let anyone else learn of your mission,” Youri
added.
‘If it could be done, I would like to obtain all nine keys without alarming the other races which are not the keepers of the keys.

‘That’s because most living beings are opposed to the idea of releasing Soren Plamen since that man is very dangerous, ’ Youri
thought.
“Sir, what should we do about Soren once we managed to collect all the keys?” James asked.
“What do you think?” Youri cast a glance in his direction.
James responded instantly, “Soren is from the Human Race.
He is a threat to all of us. He has been trapped in the formation for a very long time. Even if the formation wasn’t effective in
destroying the man, he’s very likely in a
weakened state now. This is the perfect chance for us to exterminate him. Once we have the Blithe Omniscience, Soren Plamen
shall meet his eternal end.”
“Mhm.” Youri gave him a nod of approval. “You and I are of the same opinion. You can head out for the mission now. There is no
time for us to waste.”
“Understood.”
James excused himself and exited the main hall. Then, he concealed his aura and left the Doom Race’s territory right away.
As soon as James was gone, Qimat materialized beside Youri almost instantaneously.
“Sir, are you really sure that it’s alright for us to let Mr. Wyot carry out the mission alone?” Qimat wore a worried frown.
Youri seemed relatively relaxed. “Wyot may be a rather ambitious man, but at the end of the day, he is still one of our kind.
What’s more, he is also the most suitable person for this task. Previously, he had managed to save numerous living beings in the
Ancient Realm. If we were to send out another person to ask for the keys, the other races might not be willing to cooperate as
much.”
“Are you not worried that he may run off with the keys after collecting all of them? Or he might use the keys to threaten you to
make him the Patriarch instead?” Qimat asked.
Youri let out a hearty laugh. “He wouldn’t dare do such a thing. Eventhough Wyot is quite strong, he’ll lose everything he has the
instant he turns against me and is branded as a traitor. Without the people of the Doom Race, Wyot would just be a nobody.”

After hearing those words, Qimat made no further comments.
“Have we received any news on the humans?” Youri asked.
Qimat answered, “We got the news out in the Greater Realms. We are getting help from the other races in the search for the
members of the Heaven-Eradicating Sect. I believe we’ll be getting more updates soon.”
