previous look.
He might have mastered the Primal Mantra and obtained the ability to understand almost every language, but James was only
able to decipher bits and pieces of the ancient scroll when he scanned through it earlier. Still, he was able to tell that the ancient
scroll was a record of Emperor Raiah’s past.
If it was not for Zeno, James might not have shown this much interest in information about Emperor Raiah. That strange, old
monk he had met in the Theos District had informed him about Emperor Raiah’s existence. James even found out that Wynne
Dalganus was Emperor Raiah’s close friend and subordinate.
Now that he was left all by himself, James could finally concentrate on deciphering the ancient scroll. It took him quite some time
to fully understand its contents. James was able to find some details about Emperor Raiah’s life and history from the scroll.
Emperor Raiah’s real name was Seraiah Grantis. There was no precise information on Seraiah’s date of birth.
Seraiah was born an ordinary person. By chance, he began his life and journey as a cultivator. However, Seraiah’s training and
improvement were slow and uneventful as he
did not possess any unusual talents for cultivation. Despite that, he managed to train and accomplish great things in his
cultivation journey by putting in a lot of effort.
According to the contents of the scroll, the concept of the Ten Districts did not exist at the beginning of the Endlos. Instead,
numerous ancient forces and sanctuaries could be found across innumerable universes. The Endlos was constantly in war and
havoc.
After Emperor Raiah had gained superior powers and abilities, he traveled across the Endlos and exterminated countless evil
forces. As he brought peace to the Endlos, Emperor Raiah also divided the realm into ten districts. The segregation of these
districts was even maintained to this day.
After the creation of the ten districts, Emperor Raiah mysteriously vanished without a trace. As time went on, people gradually
forgot about the existence of this powerful and prominent figure.
James could not help but wonder, ‘I never expected to find that it was actually Emperor Raiah who had created and named the
ten districts.
‘However, why did a man like him suddenly disappear?

Where would he have gone?’
James recalled Zeno’s final remarks. He muttered under his breath, ”Could it be that something bizarre or shocking had
happened in the Endlos back then?”
Just then, James heard the sound of someone knocking on
his door. He stored the ancient scroll away securely and undid the formation. Then, he let the person into his room.
Wael was all smiles as he entered through the door. “You did amazingly, James! People have been telling me about how you
easily defeated Eamon from the Zastra House upon my return. I am so proud to have you as my disciple!”
James gave him a sidelong glance. “I only agreed to join the Tempris House. I never said anything about becoming your
disciple.”
James had no intention of becoming anyone’s disciple. He had also rejected Waleria’s proposal when she tried to ask James to
join the Theos Sect.
“Hehe. That’s alright. Having you as a member of the Tempris House is more than enough.”
