Halianorfell into deep thought.
Everything seemed to make more sense as he considered Lemuel’s words.
If it weren’t for the Temple of Theognostos, how would someone like James possess such a potent signature skill?
The Dark World had existed for over eons. Countless skilled cultivators and signature skills were born in this region during that
time.
The only plausible explanation for the Tressencia Completare Art to top the Supernatural Signature Skill Ranking was that it had
originated from Theognostos.
However, the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion probably had not disclosed anything since the information regarding the leader of
Theognostos was most likely a toplevel secret. Therefore, they announced to the public that James was the creator of the
Tressencia Completare instead.
Halianor thought he had figured out the truth of it all.
The thoughts about Theognostos’ existence filled Halianor with great indignation.
For many years, the Yefteros were the strongest group in the Dark World.
Suddenly, they were facing a seemingly far more formidable force, the Temple of Theognostos, which had appeared out of
nowhere.
“Is there anything else you’re curious about?” Lemuel asked.
Halianor paused briefly. Then, he began, “Do you have any information regarding the man who’s claimed to be James Caden’s
protector?” “Huh?” Lemuel seemed confused.
“I’m talking about the man who’s fought with Saint Yui and took out the thirty-six Umbraguards,” Halianor said.
“I know only a little about that man.” Lemuel pondered for a bit and continued, “He was a member of the Flamma Race, and he
used to be a renowned cultivator in the past. At some point, he joined the Temple of Theognostos. Since then, he has not made
any public appearances.”
Even though Lemuel did not follow James to the Flamma Race’s territory, he had nonetheless heard about that famous, intense
battle. From the broadcast images, Lemuel also saw how the Flammae cultivator had claimed to be James’ protector.
Lemuel tried his best to make up a convincing story with what little information he had.
“If that is all, you should probably take your leave now.” Lemuel said frigidly, “I can’t seem to get used to your aura.”
Halianor got up and gave a slight nod. “Thank you for all the information. I’ll see you around.”
Then, Halianor teleported and vanished from the spot.
Lemuel let out a deep sigh.
“Luckily, that fellow managed to slip away safely. If a battle had broken out here, I might be able to keep him alive somehow, but
the academy would no doubt be destroyed in the process.”
As Halianor’s aura had disappeared from their domain, the members of the Dieux Academy materialized in the main hall one
after the other.
“Master!”
“Sir Lemuel!”
Lemuel waved his hand dismissively. “I know all of you have a lot of questions, but it’s best you don’t ask for the sake of your
safety. Our worlds and the Dark World are about to face huge changes soon. The most important thing for us to do now is to
improve our members’ cultivation and powers.” “I’ve acquired James Caden’s Genesis Path Scripture, and I will place it in our
library. Anyone who’s contributed to the Dieux Academy’s growth and development is allowed access to the scripture.” Lemuel
went on, “Also, James’ identity has been revealed to the world. He has a lot of enemies from his past. For all the cultivators or
groups that have participated in exterminating James Caden during his previous life, our members are to stay away from those
people. With his talent and skills, James will soon make a comeback. At that time, he would get revenge and restore order
across the many planes of existence.”
