The three departed and began traveling through the darkness. Zeno used the opportunity to share information about the Prison
World.
“The Prison World used to be part of the Ancestral Site.
Most of the Ancestral Site’s core pieces were scattered and disappeared into the darkness, leaving behind a fragmented world.
After the side led by the Four Ancient Races won the battle, they imprisoned the losing side in the Prison World and set up the
strongest formation to ever exist around the place.”
“Speaking of the battle...” James suddenly thought of something and asked, “What was the cause for it? Why were so many
races involved?”
“What else could it be? Of course, it was a fight over supreme strength. They wanted to reach the legendary Transcendental
Bliss Rank.” Zeno sighed.
“Do elaborate.” James was interested in the Dark World’s history and wanted to find out why so many races participated in the
battle.
Zeno explained, “The root of everything was the Ancestral Site. The Ancestral Site had been destroyed long ago before the
battle. Although it was shattered, a path called the Halcyon Road, also known as the Halcyon Sea, survived.
“Since ancient times until the present, powerhouses who have tried to enter the Transcendental Bliss Rank would either go
crazy, completely lose their minds, or die.
‘There were rumors that anyone who could enter the Halcyon Road and pass through it would successfully enter the
Transcendental Bliss Rank.
‘The Halcyon Road used to be located within the Ancestral Site. However, after the Ancestral Site was destroyed, the Halcyon
Road vanished into the Dark World. It would only open under specific conditions.”
James frowned and asked, “What kind of conditions?”
“When the powerhouses at the Quasi Bliss Rank reach a specific number, the Halcyon Road will appear. However, only a limited
number of powerhouses can enter the Halcyon Road. The powerhouses back then split into two sides and fought to secure a
chance to enter the Halcyon Road. The losers were to die, and the winners could enter it.

“The winning side’s powerhouses, who have reached the Quasi Bliss Rank, all entered the Halcyon Road.”
James asked, “And then what happened?”
Zeno shook his head and answered, “I’m not too sure. From what I heard, nobody returned from the Halcyon Road, nor did
anyone reach the Transcendental Bliss Rank. There are only records of powerhouses reaching the Quasi Bliss Rank, and there
aren’t any recorded accounts of anybody reaching the Transcendental Bliss Rank. It’s a myth that those who enter the
Transcendental Bliss Rank will lose their emotions and become like puppets without feelings.”
While moving through the darkness, Zeno shared some myths about the Ancestral Site, which was the root cause of the Dark
World’s past turmoil.
“Actually...” Zeno suddenly said, ‘There isn’t just one Progenitor Star. After the Ancestral Site was destroyed, many of its core
pieces were scattered and transformed into planes or planets. However, powerful races of the Dark World immediately occupied
these Progenitor Stars. The Progenitor Star within the Endlos Plane is the only one that hasn’t been discovered.”
James was surprised, not expecting such things to have happened in the Dark World. He began to look forward to reaching the
Quasi Bliss Rank and the legendary Transcendental Bliss Rank someday. He believed that day would come very soon.
“It has been long since that battle in the Dark World. I’m sure there are already many powerhouses at the Quasi Bliss Rank by
now. The Halcyon Road is bound to appear again very soon. I wonder what kind of storms will arise this time.” Zeno sighed.
The trio continued to advance toward their destination.
