The Almighty Dragon General

James, Thea, and Zeno shifted through the darkness. Soon, they arrived outside an ancient ruin called the Sky Tomb, which was
classified as a forbidden zone.
Zeno came to a stop outside the ruin. He looked ahead of them and said, “This place is called the Sky Tomb. As its name
suggests, it’s a tomb of deceased powerhouses. The Prison World is located in the depths of the Sky Tomb. In today’s Dark
World, hardly anyone knows about the Prison World.
James’ brows furrowed. He knew about the Sky Tomb because Latrusse had given him a map of the Dark World. Thus, he had a
rough idea of the locations of some places. The Sky Tomb was a well-known forbidden area, also named as one of the Ten
Dangerous Regions. Even powerhouses at the Holy Celestial Rank would not easily venture into the Sky Tomb.
Even Latrusse, the Taeytons’ Leader, had no idea there was a Prison World within the Sky Tomb.
“Didn’t the leaders of various races come together to set up the formation?
Logically speaking, there should be a bunch of people who know about the Prison World. Why are only a few people aware of it?
Not even the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion knows about the Prison World,” James asked curiously.
Zeno explained, “Those who set up the formation weren’t necessarily the leaders of their races. In fact, many of them were
members who were the most profound in their respective primitive inscriptions. Back then, they took oats to never disclose the
location of the Prison World under any circumstances.
Moreover...”
Suddenly, Zeno paused, and his expression became solemn. He continued, saying, “After the Prison World was set up, the
powerhouses who partook in setting it up got into accidents one after another in the following years. Most of them are already
dead. Perhaps only powerhouses of the Four Ancestral Races and some powerful races are still alive.”
James asked puzzledly, “Why did this happen?”
Zeno explained, “It’s likely the Four Ancient Races joined forces to secretly kill off the rest, just like how they united to obliterate
the Glacies.”
James lost his interest. He changed the topic, asking,” We’ve already arrived near the Prison World. Let’s wait here for a while to
see if Xeraiah will come after sensing the oil lamp’s whereabouts. I hope he comes quickly. If the other powerhouses sense the
oil lamp before him and arrive here, we’ll be in deep trouble.”

Zeno agreed, “Yeah. We can’t wait for too long. Let’s take a look around the area first. I’ve never been inside the Prison World
before, so I don’t really know much about the place.”
James nodded lightly.
The trio entered the ruins and immediately noticed countless tombs around the place. Some of the tombs were still intact, but a
few had already collapsed.
Each of the tombs emitted terrifying power and resentment toward the world.
Powerhouses who had not entered the Holy Celestial Rank would never dare to step foot into the Sky Tomb.
Although James had not entered the Holy Celestial Rank, his physical body was exceptional. Thus, he was not affected by the
corrupted aura.
Thea, on the other hand, had a Tenebrous Body, so she had nothing to fear.
Meanwhile, Zeno was also fine. After all, he was once a powerhouse at the Holy Celestial Rank’s late stage and was equipped
with countless skills to counter the corrupted aura.
James noticed a formation after passing by a few tombs, and the oil lamp in his storage treasure began to react. He sensed the
fluctuations ahead of him and profound inscriptions he had never encountered before.
Despite being unfamiliar with the inscriptions, James was confident in comprehending and deciphering the formation. However,
the formation was complicated and contained the primitive inscriptions of countless races. It would take him a long time before
he could break the formation.
“Let’s wait here.” James found a desolate mountain and sat down at the peak.
Thea walked over and stood beside him. Zeno looked around expectantly, waiting for Xeraiah to show up.
Time passed by day by day.
Zeno’s expectations slowly turned into disappointment.
It had been about 10,000 years since they arrived in the Sky Tomb. If Xeraiah had sensed the oil lamp, he would have arrived by
now.
