The Almighty Dragon General

Suddenly, James sensed an unusual aura fluctuation in the distance. He stood up and said, “I sense a few people approaching.
We can’t wait any longer. Let’s go.”
James summoned the oil lamp, held Thea’s hand, and rushed toward the formation. Zeno quickly followed behind them. As they
got close to the formation, a mysterious power emerged from the oil lamp and opened a gap for them to pass through.
Several elderly men arrived just after the gap in the formation closed up. They scanned the surroundings, but their Zen could not
penetrate the formation despite being peerless powerhouses. Even so, they could sense the lingering aura around them and
were certain a few living beings were in the area before them.
‘We’re too late.”
“Yeah. He’s probably already entered the Prison World using the oil lamp.”
“Who was it?”
‘The oil lamp disappeared a very long time ago. Now that it has suddenly reappeared near the prison, it could only mean the thief
has recovered and entered the Prison World with the oil lamp to rescue the prisoners.”
“We can’t chase after him into the Prison World. Let’s retreat for now, and discuss this matter.”
A few voices conversed in the Sky Tomb. After a while, their voices disappeared.
Meanwhile, James, Thea, and Zeno had already entered the formation.
However, they realized there were multiple layers to it. After entering the formation, James discovered that each layer was cast
by a different race.
Despite that, the layers had mysterious connections and were very powerful.
They would have to break the layers to completely pass through the formation. It was necessary to have the different race’s
primitive inscriptions to decipher the layers.
The formation was solid, and even a peerless powerhouse could not break it by force.
Zeno sighed and said, “In the end, Xeraiah didn’t show up. I wonder if we’ll be able to successfully obtain the primitive
inscriptions that you need. I doubt it’s going to be easy.”

“We’ll think about that after getting through this formation.” James did not have a solid plan yet but felt that worrying would not be
helpful. They could think about obtaining the primitive inscriptions after entering the Prison World.
He held up the oil lamp and slowly opened the formation’s layers one by one.
The group slowly advanced, and after passing through countless layers, they finally appeared in a vast and mysterious world.
Serrated mountains loomed in the distance, and a gem-blue stream swerved through the valleys. The air felt refreshing as it was
abundant with Empyrean Spiritual Energy.
James let out his Zen but could not find the world’s borders. However, he could sense several inscription shards scattered
throughout the area. He said surprisedly, “Is this the destroyed Ancestral Site? Why doesn’t the Endlos Plane’s Progenitor Star
consist of such magical primitive inscription sigils?”
