Thea’s biological father, Talvelai, was the current leader of the Mevryees.
Previously, the Mevryees had fallen into internal strife for a long time. Talvelai settled the conflict with his strength and became
the Mevryees’ Leader. The internal strife of the Mevryees was, of course, caused by the Yefteros.
James wanted to ensure his plan’s success rate was a hundred percent. Thus, he wanted to have as much help as he could.
In the Mevryees’ back mountain, Yuvin looked at Talvelai solemnly.
“Sir Talvelai, you...” Yuvin was surprised that Talvelai’s aura had changed drastically after leaving seclusion. Even his
appearance had aged significantly.
Talvelai wore a gray robe. He had white hair and prominent wrinkles.
Yuvin could sense that Talvelai’s aura was bizarre.
Sometimes, it had a strong presence and seemed very potent. Occasionally, it was almost non-existent and weak.
Talvelai waved his hand and asked, “What happened while I was in seclusion?”
“A lot,” Yuvin replied, explaining everything that had happened recently.
“Yui? Dead? Interesting...” Talvelai smiled, then asked, “By the way, where’s Thea right now?”
Yuvin replied, “I’m not sure. After the failed attempt to kill Yui, she left with James. Although James has already shown up in the
Central Plane, there are no traces of Thea.”
Talvelai frowned and said, “With the Yefteros’ intelligence network, they must already know about her relationship with James
and that we hid the truth.
Fortunately, Yui is already dead. Otherwise, the Yefteros would’ve taken action against us.”
At that moment, a guard rushed over to them and knelt on the ground. “Sir Talvelai, a human showed up claiming to know about
the princess’s whereabouts. He requested to see you, sir.”
Yuvin and Talvelai looked at each other.
“Could it be him?” said Yuvin.

Talvelai ordered, “Bring him inside.”
The guard quickly left.
Soon, a young man walked over.
Yuvin and Talvelai stared at the uninvited guest.
James immediately changed back to his actual appearance after seeing Yuvin.
Then, he looked at the other elderly man and said smilingly, “You must be the Mevryees’ Leader, Talvelai. My name is James
Caden. I’m glad to finally meet my father-in-law.”
Talvelai gently stroked his white beard as he looked at James. He nodded lightly and asked, “I learned about Yui’s death right
after I left seclusion. Did it have something to do with you?”
Talvelai learned that Yui was killed in the Elysium Hall. The news circulated by the Central Plane’s major forces was that a pig-
like human killed Elysium Hall’s former leader.
However, the fact that Yui had arrived in the Central Plane and was slaughtered was not widespread yet. Everyone in the Central
Plane remained oblivious to what happened in the Elysium Hall. The only public information was that a potent aura had
permeated from the universe where the Elysium Hall was located.
The Mevryees had already received the news from the Central Plane and somehow found out that Yui had died at the hands of a
pig-like human.
However, they could not determine whether James was related to these events.
James was not expecting such straightforward questioning right after meeting Talvelai. He sat on a chair nearby and said
smilingly, “What kind of answer would you like?”
Talvelai said earnestly, “You don’t have to hide anything from me. Tell me the truth.”
