The Almighty Dragon General

James frowned after sensing the abnormality with Talvelai’s aura.
“Before I answer you, I have a question for you,” said James.
“Go ahead,” Talvelai replied calmly.
James stared at him and asked, “What’s your current cultivation rank?”
Yuvin also stared at Talevelai, curious about the answer.
Talvelai gently stroked his beard and replied calmly, “I’m between the Quasi Bliss and Transcendental Bliss Rank.”
“What do you mean?” James was puzzled.
Talvelai explained, “I’m not too sure either. I’m at a very strange point in my cultivation rank. I’m above the Quasi Bliss Rank but
not yet at the Transcendental Bliss Rank. I’ve gone through our race’s ancient books and found some clues. In ancient times, a
few powerhouses had also entered this rank. It’s called the Ritual Rank.”
“Ritual Rank?” James frowned.
Curious, Yuvin asked, “What’s the rank like?”
Talvelai replied, “After reaching this rank, it feels like I have to sacrifice a part of myself, like my flesh, to allow my soul to return
to the Dark World.”
James fell into thought. ‘If the Ritual Rank existed, why did Qairo skip it? Could one have to enter the Ritual Rank before being
able to successfully reach the Transcendental Bliss Rank? Perhaps Qairo failed to enter the Transcendental Bliss Rank because
he didn’t enter the Ritual Rank?’ James had many questions but put them away for now. His main concern was to find out
Talvelai’s combat strength.
“How strong is the Ritual Rank?”
Talvelai replied, “Well, it’s above the Quasi Bliss Rank, so when my aura peaks, it’s stronger than the Quasi Bliss Rank.
However, at its weakest, my strength can be even inferior to the Holy Celestial Rank.”
James continued, asking, “When does your aura peak, and when does it weaken?”

Talvelsai shook his head and said, “I just entered this rank not too long ago and haven’t understood its fundamentals yet.”
After answering, Talvelai looked at James and said, “You’ve already asked so many questions. When are you going to answer
mine?”
James replied, “You’re not wrong. I was involved in Yui’s death. Also, the Yefteros have sent their Great Elder to the Central
Plane to investigate his death. I plan to kill Halianor and lure the Yefteros’ powerhouses to the Elysium Hall.
Then, I’ll use the opportunity to attack the Yefteros’ headquarters and wipe them out.”
After hearing James’ plan, Talvelai chuckled, “Haha. You want to wipe out the Yefteros? With your strength? The Yefteros had
dominated the Dark World for so long. You won’t be able to obliterate them so easily. If they were that weak, they would’ve been
eliminated long ago.”
James smiled and replied, ‘Naturally, I’m not strong enough. However, with the Mevryees, that won’t necessarily be the case.”
Talvelai looked at him and said, “So you came to request our help?”
James replied solemnly, “I’ve already got many powerhouses on board. The Mevryees are the only ones left. If the Mevryees
dispatch powerhouses, we’ll definitely succeed. Of course, it would be even better if you joined this operation.”
“Oh? Which powerhouses have joined you?” Talvelai’s curiosity was piqued.
James answered, “I have two powerhouses at the Quasi Bliss Rank, one at the Consummation. However, he has the strength to
kill Yui with one blow.”
James honestly revealed his trump cards. After all, he was speaking with Thea’s biological father, also the Mevryees’ Leader.
Although the Mevryees were one of the Four Ancient Races and obeyed the Yefteros on the surface, they had deep hatred
toward the Yefteros.
