The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 1082
Lysander’s piercing gaze locked onto Atticus, his voice firm and steady. “Apart from helping your mom in deleting the radar
surveillance, what else have you done?”
“To... to hack into a network...” Atticus began, but then he remembered the promise he made to Thalassa – a promise meant to
be kept from everyone, including his dad. He couldn’t spill the beans.
His words suddenly lodged in his throat, and he gaped at Lysander, who was staring him down with an imposing intensity that
made Atticus’ heart race with fear.
Normally, Atticus wouldn’t be intimidated by Lysander. He’d stare right back, furrowing his
little brow.
But now, under Lysander’s penetrating gaze, Atticus’ eyes wavered, and he dropped his head, falling silent.
Lysander’s deep voice probed, “Whose network did you hack into?”
Atticus hung his head, his mind racing with panic.
“Speak up!” Lysander demanded, his tone cold as steel.
Startled, Atticus’ shoulders shook, and he blurted out, “I hacked into Mommy’s office network. She left some documents at work
and didn’t want to go back for them, so she asked me to copy them over to her computer at home.”
After speaking, Atticus looked up at Lysander with anxious, doe-like eyes, worried that his dad would see through the lie.

“Why all the secrecy?” Lysander asked, his gaze unwavering.
“Because I promised Mommy that I wouldn’t tell anyone. She was afraid of getting scolded by her boss,” Atticus mumbled,
looking up through his lashes, his head still bowed, afraid that not meeting Lysander’s eyes would anger him further.
His demeanor was a mix of guilt and innocence.
Lysander, seeing Atticus’ downcast expression, thought he had frightened him. His tone softened as he spoke, “Don’t worry, your
mom’s boss won’t find out. Turn on the computer and copy the video files I need.”
Returning to the matter at hand, Lysander waited.
“Okay,” Atticus quickly said, pulling out his tablet from a drawer and turning his back to Lysander as he booted it up, silently
relieved that his quick thinking had kept his secret safe.
As the computer started, Atticus asked, “Daddy, did Mommy go to work today? When will she be back?”

Chapter 1052
It was already the afternoon, which was usually the time she returned home. Why was it that only his dad had come back and
not his mom?
Lysander’s eyes deepened slightly, his voice low as he answered, “She’s fallen ill and is in the hospital.”

“What? Mommy’s sick? Is it serious? I want to see her,” Atticus said, his voice filled with surprise and concern.
“It’s nothing too bad. She’s just resting at the hospital and will be back in a couple of days,”” Lysander reassured him.
“Alright,” Atticus responded weakly, though his mind was still on his mother.
Distracted, his usual quick code-breaking skills slowed down. What would normally take him two minutes now took ten, but
eventually, he managed to transfer all the surveillance footage from the past 40 days at the Fortune Restaurant onto his
computer.
“Daddy, that should be everything,” Atticus said, turning to face Lysander.
Lysander reached out and patted his son’s head gently, “Good job, son. You can go and take a break now.”
Atticus paused, then obediently left the room. If his dad didn’t invite him to watch the copied footage together, he figured it was
best not to ask.
Once Atticus had left the room, Lysander sat down at the computer and began reviewing the videos one by one.
He scrutinized everything from the moment Callum entered the diner to when Thalassa walked in, and all the details of her
leaving just 12 minutes after entering the private
booth.
