The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 715
“Right. We need to look after Mom.” Sophia, standing to the side, piped up and looked up at Thalassa with a determined
expression. Her tiny fists were clenched as she said, “We can’t let Dad bully Mom.”
They were worried about their mother. Their hearts were almost breaking with concern.
Understanding dawned on Thalassa. So, the little ones were worried she was being bullied.
Thalassa’s heart warmed as she felt their overwhelming love. “Don’t worry, Dad won’t bully Mom. And Mom is a grownup, so I
can protect myself. You don’t have to worry about me, okay?”
Once Thalassa gave them this reassurance, the little ones seemed to calm down. They nodded in agreement.
“Alright, let’s go downstairs for a bath.” Thalassa’s nerves, jangled by Lysander, were soothed by the prospect of a bath.
She quickly led the children out of the room, ignoring Lysander’s oppressive gaze.
After bathing the children and tucking them into bed, she turned off the lights and wished them goodnight.
As she turned, she walked into a solid chest.
Startled, Thalassa looked up and saw Lysander’s deep eyes. She took a sharp breath and stepped back. “Shouldn’t you be
asleep?”
“I was waiting for you.” Lysander’s deep voice was smooth as silk.
In the next second, he swept her off her feet.
Thalassa gasped and instinctively clung to his neck. Regaining her bearings, she lowered her voice, unable to hide her
embarrassment. “What are you doing?”
“You’ll find out soon enough.” Lysander’s voice was deep and resonant.
He carried her swiftly into the bathroom, shut the door, and turned on the shower. The warm water cascaded down on Thalassa,
and the sudden sensation caused her to flinch.

After adjusting to the temperature, she finally relaxed, but she still glared at him through the water. “Lysander, don’t push it.”
Lysander began unbuttoning his shirt. “Is this crossing the line? Have you ever considered the consequences when you drink?”
He slowly approached her, causing his dangerous presence to be shrouded in steam.
Thalassa retreated. Her heart was pounding, and her eyes widened with wariness, causing them to glisten under the warm
lights.
“I was drinking with Hertha, not anyone else.” Thalassa was exasperated. Was she not even allowed to have a drink?
Was Lysander trying to control her life?
Her back hit the shower wall, leaving her no room to retreat.
Lysander trapped her between the wall and his chest as his gaze locked on her.
“Is this why you didn’t return to Royal Estates? Were you planning to meet some guy after getting drunk?” His voice, suppressed
with anger, echoed in the bathroom.
He hadn’t forgotten the time she’d flirted with a younger guy at the bar after getting drunk.
Did she not remember how she behaved when she was drunk?
Thalassa looked at him as her heart fluttered under his intense gaze. “I didn’t think that way.”
Then you were planning to be rude to me. I’m giving you an opportunity to be as rude as you want.” His cold and magnetic voice
was so pleasant that it made her heart flutter.
Before Thalassa could respond, he kissed her.
She gripped the wall behind her, and her toes curled on the tile floor.
The sound of running water filled the bathroom, causing steam to cloud their figures.
The light from above bore down on them. Thalassa, for the first time, felt truly intoxicated,
