The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 719
Faye was desperate. “I admit it, it was me! I called Robert, your house servant, and instructed him to sabotage Evelyn and hurt
Grandma Sybil, which led to the tragedy.”
Her breath hitched, and her usually steady eyes quivered. With great courage, she confessed. “I only wanted to upset Evelyn
and make her anger Grandma Sybil, or cause Grandma Sybil to trip, so you all would dislike Evelyn and Thalassa. I never
imagined that Grandma Sybil would pass away from a fall. If I had known this, I would have never instructed Robert to do such a
thing. I was wrong. I really hadn’t considered the consequences.”
Her hands, hanging by her side, were clenched tightly. Her face was as white as a sheet, and her lips were trembling slightly.
She stared at Lysander, not glancing at Thalassa. In her mind, Thalassa was the reason she was in this situation.
BANG!
Lysander smacked his cutlery on the table.
Faye jumped in fright.
Thalassa also flinched. She was no longer able to continue eating. She turned to look at Lysander.
She had guessed that Lysander’s pursuit of Faye might have something to do with Grandma Sybil, but she never imagined that
Faye would stoop so low as to sabotage Evelyn and her.
Fitch, sitting next to them, was equally shocked. His eyes widened with disbelief. Grandma Sybil’s death was related to Faye?!
The icy aura radiating from Lysander made everyone hold their breath.
“So, you thought you could do as you please because you hadn’t considered the consequences?! Faye, you’ve brought this on
yourself!” Lysander’s voice was cold, and his words were sharp.
As soon as he finished speaking, police officers entered and walked straight to Faye. They handcuffed her and took her away.
Faye was despondent. As she reached the door, she suddenly stopped and looked back at Lysander. “My father, he...”
“Let the law handle it!” Lysander’s voice was cold and unfeeling.

Faye, unable to control her emotions any longer, began to sob uncontrollably.
Her future was ruined, and her family, the Brennan family, was finished.
As the sound of the police siren faded, Faye was taken away, and the room fell silent again.
Thalassa had been holding her breath since the incident. She was afraid that any noise from her would provoke Lysander.
She understood now.
That day, when Faye escaped down Phoenix Mountain by using the rugged terrain to her advantage, she managed to evade
capture. But Lysander had evidence of her involvement in Grandma Sybil’s death and was determined to bring her to justice.
He brought down the Brennan Group and put Daniel in jail to force Faye to turn herself in.
After all, she was the cause of the Brennan family’s downfall.
Now that the Brennan family was going bankrupt and her father was imprisoned, Faye had no choice but to show up and beg
Lysander for mercy.
As Thalassa pieced together Lysander’s strategy, she felt even more terrified.
No wonder rumors of Lysander’s ruthless tactics were widely known. If he wanted to bring someone down, they would certainly
not escape.
Trying to escape Lysander’s control was likely an impossible task.
“Wow, that’s scary.” The silence was broken by Elowen’s innocent voice.
“Daddy’s so scary. Sophia started crying.
The iciness and indifference Lysander had shown towards Faye had frightened the children across the table.
Their innocent eyes widened. They were a bit confused as they watched Lysander. Now that things had settled, the little ones
began to react.
Unable to suppress their fear, they began to complain about how

scary Lysander was.
Lysander snapped back to reality, and his icy gaze softened. “That lady did something wrong. She hurt others to get what she
wanted, so the police took her away. Don’t be scared; there are no bad guys left.”
