The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 729
How was she supposed to tell her mother that Lysander wouldn’t even let her see their kids now?
She was their mother, for Christ’s sake! She’d raised their four children, and now she didn’t even have the freedom to see them?!
If Lysander was in a good mood, she could see her little ones. If he wasn’t, no matter how desperate she was, she couldn’t lay
eyes on them.
Thalassa felt utterly helpless and powerless.
“Mom, give it a bit more time. Work’s been crazy lately, and the kids are busy with school. Once things calm down, I’ll bring them
back.” Thalassa mumbled through a mouthful of her dinner as she spoke to Evelyn.
She’d find a way to talk to Lysander. She needed to make him understand what happened and convince him to let her see their
children.
Then, she would bring them home.
That’s fine, dear. I’ve been meaning to catch up with this gentleman online anyway. Let’s see where things go before we meet.”
Evelyn seemed convinced.
The next day, Thalassa was up early. She hailed a cab and headed to Royal Estates, ready to confront Lysander face-to-face.
But instead, she was greeted by the news that Lysander had already left at the crack of dawn.
She’d been up at five and only managed to get there past six. She was always one step behind.
What on earth was Lysander doing out so early? He was never this early for the office.
Did he anticipate her showing up and leave earlier to avoid her?
If that were the case, he really went out of his way to punish her.
Despite Lysander’s absence, Thalassa stayed and waited. By eight, the family’s SUV rolled out of the driveway.
It was Fitch driving the kids to school.

Thalassa quickly moved closer to trail the vehicle, hoping to get a glimpse of her children.
But the SUV’s windows were tinted. You could see out, but not in.
Thalassa craned her neck, trying to peek inside, but saw nothing.
The children, being small, were hardly visible from outside the car unless they deliberately looked out the window. They were
buckled in their car seats with their heads bent over their iPads, oblivious to their mother outside.
The driver didn’t slow down. The SUV brushed past Thalassa and drove off.
Thalassa chased after it for a few steps, but it was futile. The car sped away.
She stopped, panting as she tried to catch her breath.
The car had deliberately sped up to avoid her. Lysander must have instructed the driver not to let her see the kids.
He was truly heartless.
Anxious and frustrated, Thalassa dialed David’s number.
“David.” She asked as soon as he answered. “Where are you?”
“At the door of the boss’s office, why?”
“Can you put me on speaker?” Thalassa asked immediately.
“I can, but...”
“Just do it; you won’t regret it.” Thalassa cut him off assertively.
David was curious about what Thalassa would do, so he put her on speakerphone.
“Lysander, listen to me. You can’t stop me from seeing our children. They are my flesh and blood. Who are you to deny my right
to see them? i’ve had enough!”
As soon as the speakerphone was activated, Thalassa’s angry, unfiltered words echoed through the office,
She even addressed Lysander by his name.

David quickly glanced at Lysander, who was sitting behind his desk. He wanted to turn off the speakerphone, but it was already
too late.
