The Billionaire’s Secret Quartet (Thalassa and Elowen)

Chapter 855
“Stop standing there. Come with me,” Lysander extended his hand towards her.
As his fingers brushed against hers, Thalassa quickly pulled away, “No need. I need to get back to work. You carry on.”
Without giving him another glance, she turned and started to stride away.
The moment she turned away, tears started to pour down her cheeks. She bit her lip hard, refusing to let herself cry out loud.
Despair, heartache, desperation, suffocation...
Those feelings all flooded towards her.
The man she had hoped would lead a good life was now gone, and his death was connected to her kids’ father.
Thalassa felt that her whole world had turned gray.
Lysander stood there, watching her leave. His hand, which he had extended to her, now hung in the air. Blood trickled down his
hand and dropped onto the concrete floor but he didn’t notice.
Thalassa suppressed the surging pain in her heart and walked briskly, hoping to catch a cab..
His black Rolls-Royce slowly drove by and followed her. The window rolled down to reveal Lysander’s deep-set face, “Hop in. I’ll
take you to work.” Hearing his voice, Thalassa’s nerves tightened further. She clenched her teeth and tried to sound calm, “No
need, I can manage myself!”
“Do I need to carry you in?” Lysander was firm when his car came to a halt.
Thalassa stopped abruptly. Her emotions were like a raging sea, which she couldn’t hold back anymore. She turned to Lysander.
Panting heavily, she shouted, “I said no, I don’t need your help! Can’t you just leave me alone?”
She just wanted to be alone to calm down. She didn’t want to see him right now.
Lysander’s handsome face was darker than the overcast sky. His oceanic eyes were unfathomably deep as they were gazing at
her hysterical reaction. No one had ever dared to shout at him like this. The woman was getting more ill-tempered!
He stepped out of his car, his imposing aura approached, seeping into Thalassa’s bones. She instinctively took a step back.

Lysander grabbed her wrist and forcefully pulled her into his car; his voice was icy cold, “Since when do you get to tell me what
to do?”
He shoved her into the car and followed her in. The confined space of the car was filled with a chilling and oppressive
atmosphere, making it hard to
breathe.
Thalassa was scared after venting her anger. She had just lost her temper in front of this devil, Lysander. She was sure that she
wouldn’t get off easily. She moved her body to the side, trying to distance herself from Lysander. His rough palm grabbed her
chin. Those scorching and powerful fingers forcefully jerked her face to look at him.
“Wanna die, do you? Let me tell you, without my permission, you can’t even die! Your life is mine, if I catch you mistreating
yourself again, I will make you taste the pain of losing everything!”
Lysander’s eyes were bloodshot; his gaze was filled with suppressed anger. His cold words, one by one, brushed against her
face, forcing her to acknowledge her current situation.
Thalassa’s eyelashes quivered, her breath hitched.
That was his cruelty and ruthlessness.
Even the life and death of others were under his control.
Did he kill Leopold just to make her focus on him, to stay by his side like a puppet?
She had told him that she and Leopold had nothing; he was just an old friend. But he still wouldn’t let him go.
Thalassa’s breath shook. Her eyes were wide with fear as she looked at Lysander. She vowed in her heart that she would
escape this devil.
She must!
