The Ceo’s Convict Wife by Jennifer Mike

Chapter 1067
“That’s right. We’re married...” Warren murmured, taking another mouthful of wine.
He drank a lot of wine, while Jonathan only had a few sips. Warren ended up being drunk and lying on the couch, but even in his
drunken state, he kept calling Amelia’s name.
When Rosalie went into the living room, she noticed that Warren was drunk.
“Why did he come to you?” Rosalie asked.
“To grumble, I think. He and Amelia got married. But that might cause him more pain in his heart.” Jonathan looked at Warren.
Rosalie sighed as well. “In fact, he and Amelia could have been a happy couple. If he hadn’t forced her to kneel before Irene in
the past, maybe she wouldn’t have reached this point with him today. And who knows, if he overturned her sentence, there might
be a chance for them to
reconcile and rekindle their relationship.”
“Yes. Sometimes people make the wrong choices and suffer the consequences forever.” Jonathan muttered. Then he suddenly
turned and hugged Rosalie.
He hugged her tightly as if he wanted to keep her close forever.
Rosalie was taken aback when she noticed that his hug was considerably tighter than usual. “What’s going on? Why are you
hugging me so tight?”
Jonathan replied in a low voice, “Because I feel lucky. I’m glad you were willing to forgive me and even... continue to love me.”
Rosalie was surprised. But she soon realized that Warren’s situation reminded Jonathan of their past, and that was why he
reacted like that.
“That’s because you deserve my love.” Rosalie gently hugged Jonathan back with both hands.
He trembled slightly and lovingly nuzzled his face against her neck, showing his endless affection.

She was quite accustomed to his occasional moments of playfulness, like a big puppy seeking attention. “Well, don’t overthink.
Warren and Amelia have their own paths ahead. Yet, our destiny lies solely in being together.”

As Rosalie spoke, she tenderly rested her hand on his shoulder, delicately brushing her fingers against his head as if to lovingly
stroke his hair.
“We will never part again.” As Jonathan said that, he suddenly straightened up and picked Rosalie up.
“What?” She was startled, but he had already carried her toward the stairs.
“Warren is still passed out on the couch,” Rosalie reminded him.
“Someone will take him to the guest room later,” Jonathan said. His sparkling eyes gazed at her with intense longing and love.
Suddenly, Rosalie’s face turned red, and even the neck exposed outside her pajamas seemed to be tinged with a soft shade of
pink.
His gaze was constantly on her as if he wanted to keep her in sight at all times.
She was like all those who couldn’t resist the captivating power of beauty. Eventually, she surrendered completely and
succumbed to his beauty.
She seemed unable to resist his charm.
Rosalie wrapped her hands around Jonathan’s neck and kissed his lips...
After Warren woke up the next day, Rosalie warned him, “I don’t care what will happen between you and Amelia in the future. But
if you hurt Amelia, I won’t let you go.”
Warren looked at her lightly. “If that day comes, even if you let me go, I will never let myself go.”
Rosalie didn’t say anything.

Warren turned around and was about to leave, but then he suddenly stopped.
Then he asked, “Rosalie, why did you want to be with Jonathan in the first place?”
“What?” She was stunned.
“Why were you able to be with Jonathan in the end, even though your imprisonment was related to him?” Warren asked.
Few people were aware that Jonathan behaved indifferently to the matter. However, after Rosalie fell into the sea, Warren
decided to investigate and

stumbled upon the reason by chance.
Rosalie looked at Warren and said after a moment, “Because I know that no one in this world loves me more than he does. If I let
him go, I would regret it for the rest of my life!”
Warren smiled bitterly. “I see.”
Perhaps Amelia never truly believed that he was the one who loved her the most in this world.
Amelia lost faith in him because he had hurt her deeply before, and all the promises he made during their relationship turned out
to be lies.
A few days later, Warren and Amelia went to the Vital Records Office to get a birth permit.
Amelia was given a form by the staff. She and Warren filled in thè required information and then handed over their marriage
certificate, ID card, and household registry to the staff.
Then, they sat in the chairs and waited.
Warren looked at Amelia, who was silent, and said, “I’ve told my mother about our marriage. She won’t bother you anymore. If
what she said made you uncomfortable, please ignore it.”

“Your mother didn’t say anything that bothered me. It’s good that she’s aware of it now.” Amelia said.
“Really?” Warren was a little sad. She always spoke to him in an indifferent tone as if he had no place in her heart.
As he thought about being drunk at the Youngblood residence and the following conversation with Rosalie the next morning, he
suddenly asked, “How much do you trust me, Amelia?”
