Arnold took one long, hard look at Bella before walking out of Yara Park without looking back.
Little did everybody know, Asher stood by the railing upstairs, gripping the bar tightly.
The pain of watching Arnold leave ripped his heart open.
Reaching a breaking point, Aaron stepped out of the house and spat out blood.
Bella sure did not hold back from hitting him.
Arnold curled his lips, but Aaron caught him in the act.
Aaron stared intently at Arnold. "Smile all you want now. Once we get home to Grandpa and Dad, you won't be smiling any
longer."
Yara Park was missing some laughter due to Arnold's absence.
"Where was Wyatt when his woman was bullied?" Bella brewed with rage. "He should be the one to face his enemy."
Sasha replied, "Don't blame your father, Bella. He's hard at labor."
Everyone was lost for words.
Sasha was better off saying Wyatt was working or in the office.
She turned a business mogul into a laborer.
Bella's eyes widened. "Has he lost it? He hasn't given himself time to recover, and he's back at work already?! Arnold said he
needed rest. What's with all the rush?" Though Bella was not saying the nicest things, her words reflected concern.
The mention of Arnold put everybody's spirits down.
Sasha sighed and put her arm around Mila's waist. "Why are the Larson's so stubborn, Mila? They are such a stick in the mud.
Would it kill them to be open-minded?"
"I'm not part of the Larson family, not since a long time ago.” Mila smiled wryly. "I should change my last name when I have time
tomorrow."
"Aunt Mila." Bella looked at her with a serious face. "What's going on? How did Aaron find out that Arnold was here?"
Mila bit her lips, her voice bearing emotions. "I told him."
The group was shocked. "Why?"
"I have my reasons. Don't worry. Even if Arnold goes back, he won't cut communications with you."
Mila's eyes flickered. "Arnold is no longer a child. Larson control him anymore. Once returns to Meridan, you can fly to him if you
need anything."
Bella observed Mila's expression, getting the feeling that she was not upfront about everything.
Mila could have gotten Arnold removed a long time ago.
Why did she wait until now and react in the most drastic manner?
Amid Bella's contemplation, heavy footsteps approached.
Asher took strides to the door.
"Where are you going, Ash?" Bella cried.
Asher cocked his head back and spoke hoarsely, "I need to head out for a bit."
He then left the living room.
Bella was taken aback. She wondered if her eyes had deceived her.
Asher's eyes were red.
